- This "newbie" thinks this is a good idea. Just bought a Cardinal 28,800
- external modem with voicemail. Factory settings are 4 bit but there is
- an option for 8 bit. I don't even know if I can change it-what it might
- do (just use up more memory?) Otherwise the Cardinal sounds O.K. (it
- ain't CD quality though-not that I expect that). anyone play with the
- settings and what happened.
